1. Who We Are
UKMODCHIPS is a trading name of Omilos Group Limited (Company No. 17255932), registered in England and Wales.

2. Data We Collect
When you submit a booking request through our website, we collect the following personal data:
- Full name
- Email address
- WhatsApp / mobile phone number
- UK vehicle registration number or VIN
- Postal address (Mailed Kit option only, for hardware dispatch)
- Hardware preference (mailed kit or own cable)
We do not collect or store payment card data. Card processing is handled entirely by Stripe, who are an independent data controller. We receive only a Stripe session reference confirming payment.
We also collect standard web analytics data (pages visited, browser type, approximate location) if you consent to analytics cookies.
3. How We Use Your Data
We collect and use only the data necessary to deliver the service you have requested. We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to your booking.

Third parties. We share data with the following processors only to the extent necessary:
- Stripe — payment processing. Receives name, email, phone, VIN, and services selected as booking metadata.
- EmailJS — technician notification. Receives booking details after a successful payment to alert our technician. Used server-side only; no EmailJS code runs in your browser.
- Netlify — website hosting. Processes server logs (including IP addresses) as part of standard infrastructure operation.
- Google Analytics 4 — analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected.
- Booking contact details (name, email, phone, postal address) — deleted 12 months after the service is completed or the booking is cancelled, whichever is earlier, unless an unresolved dispute requires us to retain them longer.
- VIN activation records — retained for the duration of our re-coding service offering. These records contain only the vehicle identifier and the features activated; they do not contain your contact details.
- Payment references (Stripe session ID only) — retained for 6 years to satisfy statutory accounting obligations under the Companies Act 2006.
- Analytics data — retained for 26 months within Google Analytics, or not collected at all if you decline analytics cookies.
5. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@ukmodchips.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk).
